FAQs

How long do projects take?

Project timelines vary depending on scope, complexity, and client responsiveness. Small projects can take 1–2 weeks, while larger projects may take 4–8+ weeks. A clear timeline will be provided at the project start.

What kinds of projects do you take?

I focus on projects that align with my expertise and values, particularly in femtech, climate, and social impact businesses. I work on product design, UX/UI, and website design, collaborating with teams that are building thoughtful and meaningful solutions. I have experience in web apps, mobile app, mobile web and even TV apps.

I love books! I am open to any print projects and especially any book related work.

What are your rates?

My rates vary based on the type of project and engagement. I offer hourly, project-based, and retainer pricing. Please reach out with details about your project, and I’ll provide a custom quote

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, I typically require a deposit (usually 30-50% of the total project cost) to secure your spot in my schedule. The remaining balance is due upon project milestones or completion, as outlined in the contract.

How do you handle revisions?

I work collaboratively with clients to create solutions tailored to their needs. We typically have a few check-ins each week, either synchronously or asynchronously, ensuring plenty of opportunities for feedback and refinement as we build the solution together.

Do you offer rush projects?

Yes, depending on my availability. Rush projects (those requiring a significantly shorter turnaround than my standard timelines) may be subject to an additional fee.

Do you handle development as well?

I specialize in design but partner with trusted developers for web and app development projects. If your project requires development, please indicate it in the intake form, and I’ll leverage my network to bring in the right expertise.

Can you design in my existing brand style?

Absolutely! If you have an established brand, I’ll ensure that all designs align with your existing style, guidelines, and messaging.

What if I’m not happy with the design?

My process includes checkpoints to align on vision and direction early on. If adjustments are needed, I work within the agreed revision rounds to refine the design. If there’s a major shift in direction outside the original scope, we can discuss adjustments to the timeline and budget.

How do we communicate during the project?

I typically communicate via email, Slack, or scheduled video calls. To keep projects organized, I may set up a Linear board or work within your preferred project management software.

How do I get started?

Reach out via my new client intake form with details about your project. I’ll review your request, and if we’re a good fit, I’ll schedule a call to discuss next steps.
